Posted on Feb 4th, 2008 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
My niece, baby Anna

Now did I say too much? Even though of course I'm totally blinded by love for my little niece, I think it's reasonable say she is the cutest baby on the planet! :)

I'm so proud to be her auntie!

Born on january 16th 2008 to bring more love and light into this world!

Adyashanti :: Today I awoke

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2007 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
Adyashanti

Today I awoke, finally I see the Self has re-turned to the Self.
The Self is none other than the Self
.
I am deathless. I am endless. I am free.

The birds outside sing ..
The birds outside sing and there am I.

The seeing of leaves on the trees, that seeing am I.

The body breathes, breathing am I.

I am awake and I know that I am awake.

Seen from the old eyes, everything is asleep, a game, a delusion.
But now I am awake. I am the play. I am the game. I am the delusion.

I am the enlightenment I sought, looking everywhere.
Nothing is separate, nothing is alone.

I am all that I see. All that I smell, taste, touch, feel, think and know.

I am awake and this awakeness is the same as Shyakyamuni Buddha's.

Today the leaf has returned to the root.
I am all name and form and beyond all name and form.
I am Spirit, no longer trapped in a body.
I am free. I am free because I am awake.

So ordinary. Who would have thought ? Who could have guessed?
I am home. I am really home. Ten thousand life times.
Ten thousand life times but today I am home.
Ten thousand life times but today I am home.

This is not an experience. This is me.
I am awake. Finally, I am awake.
Nothing has changed, but I am awake.

Before I tasted the root many times and felt, how delicious.
Today I became the root. How ordinary.

Beautiful Asilah!

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2007 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
How blessed I am to live in my part of the world! Not only does the sun shine most days of the year, but also we're very close to Morocco, so last weekend we went over there for 2 days.

We ended up in this amazingly cute village facing the Atlantic called Asilah. A lovely traditional Medina with lots of Spanish and Portuguese influences where you can find loads of really beautiful murals because of the international art festival that they have each year in August.

We had a simple dinner on Saturday night in a tiny restaurant, with a very delicious starter! I asked for the recipe, that the owner of the restaurant was happy to share with me. The funny thing was that we had kind of a language barrier, so he invited me into the kitchen and Saida, the cook, demonstrated how it was done, while I took notes and smelled spices to determine what it was! Here's the recipe:

Salade Boudenjel

Ingrdients:
-5 small aubergines (the really small variety)
-clove of garlic
-teaspoon of paprika
-teaspoon of grounded cumin
-handfull of chopped parsley
-pinch of salt
-olive oil

Cut aubergine in small cubes and steam until tender. Put olive oil in frying pan, add garlic, paprika and cumin and fry on a low fire for a minute. Add aubergine and salt, and fry some more on a medium / low fire until there are no more cubes visible. Then add the parsley. Let cool off a bit, garnish with (preferably Moroccan) olives and eat with bread. YUM!

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy, that I took on Sunday morning:

Satsang :: living the power of NOW

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2007 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
Last month we had the joy to organise and be in Satsang with Moni Vangolen and Tomas Stubbs from Vancouver! This lovely couple has had an awakening and now share their presence with people around the world, to help them shed the veils of illusion. What an amazing experience it was!

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.

Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn't make any sense.

- mevlana jelaluddin rumi - 13th century

Moni & Tomas

Moni and Tomas took us right through all the layers of words, concepts and beliefs into the timeless realm of aware presence…. Beautiful!

Everything flowed effortlessly while organising the Satsang here in Malaga; we were definitely in synch! The venue where it happened is exceptionally beautiful and tranquil and we were very lucky to be offered this space. We had visitors coming from across the country and even lovely Ilona from Denmark joined us!

Be Still...

We also offered catering, which was very succesfull. I love cooking so I took advantage of the occasion to go wild in the kitchen! During the breaks we served Chai and verrrrry yummie carrot cake.

Chai & Carrot Cake

For lunch we had a buffet of a variety of Northern African vegan dishes, like vegetable cous cous, tabouleh, carrot cilantro salad, spicy potatoes, hummus, spicy pumpkin dip and much more…

Deliciouzzz!

It was a great weekend, and we are looking forward to organising more uplifting events!

Star Dreams :: Crop Circles

Posted on Oct 5th, 2007 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
I'm watching a fascinating documentary on crop circles, called Star Dreams. Haven't finished watching yet so i can't give you a full review, but what I've seen so far is mind blowing!

Why are most people are so keen on believing crop circles are a hoax? Probably it just doesn't fit in their fixed belief system. And there are hoaxes around. But the circles shown in the documentary are sooooo perfect and complex, it just can't be done with some rope and a piece of wood, period.

Take a look at this one:

Crop Circle spirals

and this one:

and this one:

And here's a preview of the documentary:

Star Dreams

I find it fascinating, and am open to any explanation, but don't know much about the subject. Do any of you Zaadsters have insights about what to make of these crop circles? I mean, if aliens want to communicate a message to us and they're so technically advanced, why do they use crop circles and not any other medium? And what is the message in these crop circles exactly, if any? Thoughts, anyone...?

Here's the link to the Star Dreams website.

Inside a raindrop

Posted on Sep 23rd, 2007 by Angelic Ana : Fabulous Fairy Angelic Ana
If I
were a
raindrop
above the planet
earth, would I realize
everywhere I'd been? Would
I know, as I was about to quench
the thirst of a dry African plain, that earlier
that week I had been a drop in the eye of a
koala in Australia? And then I was a drop in the
sneeze of a polar bear in the Arctic, and then a drop
rolling off the back of a duck in Puerto Rico? Would
I know that humans are mostly water and that I had been in
and out of thousands of people this year? Would I remember I
was part of the white lemonade a schoolgirl speaking Irish drank in
Dingle, and I was in the cup of tea for a rice farmer in Indonesia, and in
the sweat on the violinist's brow onstage at the symphony in New York,
and in the breath of the hiker in the mountains of Austria, and in the tears of
joy for the birthday girl in Brazil? When I were a raindrop I might remember
what I saw when I was part of a rainbow or a waterfall, I might see the other
drops as they fall from the sky like so many little blue marbles, reflecting what's
around them. I might see the earth in space as another little blue marble and
realize how connected we all are. Forgive me if I splash you. I may meet you
next as a beautiful fountain, or a nice cold drink, or a puddle to play in.
Forgive me if I leave a streak on your window. I may meet you next
when I'm a snowflake sparkling in the sun. I am not a perfect
raindrop, but if you give me another chance I may
be able to make you smile at a sunset, beautiful
because I am there in the clouds.
We're sure to see each other
again, for we are all
connected.
: )
